Black Canyon 3 day Exploration and Orientation

This excursion is an invitation to explore, with hiking and camping, the remote Oregon high desert canyonlands. Black Canyon is a rugged landscape of deep canyons, side canyons, springs, and wondering trails. It's rich in wildlife, birdlife, and native plants. The geology is dramatic, the skies are clear, and silence is profound.

3 Day Diamond Heart Medicine Journey, Black Canyon

June 6 - 8, 2025

…An approximate agenda

June 6, 9 am: Arrive at my place, Heart Fire Sanctuary, Damascus , Or.. Car pooling a plus. Opening Circle w/ blessing for our journey.

9:30: leave for Black Canyon

Stop for lunch picnic along the way.

1:30: Arrive at Black Canyon

1:30 - 4pm set up camp.

Give honor to the Spring and Canyon Spirits and residence 

6pm Dinner, orientation, flora & fauna, etc.

Talk about tomorrow’s intentions and possibilities (medicine circle, etc).

Night time meditation, listening, possibility of fire.

Bedtime

June 7th, 9am. Tea, light breakfast, pack day pack w/ snacks, layers, intentions, journal.

10:30am: Walkabout

4:30 ish: back to camp

6pm dinner

Circle: sharing experiences, journaling etc. (Optional)

Free Time: Stargazing,etc.
